Contrary to fat-freezing methods, the high-frequency ultrasound waves used in this technique generate heat beneath the skin. This destroys the fat cells and tightens the skin in the treated area simultaneously. The body then naturally expels these treated cells, which can continue for up to six months after the treatment.

The body handpiece is a completely different treatment from the face cartridge. It operates at three depths: 5mm, 7mm, and 13mm. These varying depths are designed to tighten, lift, and reduce stubborn fat areas.

The typical clinical endpoint for HIFU 8D lipo sculpting is 12 weeks. Immediate results are primarily due to lymphatic drainage, which occurs as a result of applying the handpiece over the treatment area.
